Caring For Luxury Bedding

We recommend that you always check the cleaning instructions on your bedding, or on our website, to properly care for your bedding. Feel free to contact us if you need assistance with cleaning instruction information.

Following are general recommendations for the care and cleaning of your bedding.

MACHINE WASHING: If your bedding is machine washable, we recommend washing in cold water, gentle cycle using a cold water rinse. Always use a mild detergent and avoid bleach, and softeners. We do not recommend using a liquid fabric softener or dryer sheet on any of our bedding particularly 100% cotton.
Tumble dry partially on low heat for ten minutes or less. Remove from dryer while damp to allow your bedding to finish drying naturally.

SHRINKAGE: You can expect some shrinkage on all cotton and cotton blend fabric. Our bedding is cut generously oversized to accommodate shrinkage.

DRY CLEANING/SPOT CLEANING: Many of our decorative pillows and throws are hand crafted mixing different fabrics, trims and decorative embellishments. We recommend that all decorative pillows and throws be either Spot Cleaned or professionally Dry Cleaned.

IRONING: A warm iron can be used on all natural fabrics such as linens, linen blends and 100% cottons.

VELVET FABRIC CARE: Washable velvets have been pre-washed and shrinkage is minimal. For best results we recommend machine washing in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry partially on low heat for ten minutes or less. Remove from dryer while damp to allow your bedding to finish drying naturally.

NATURAL FABRIC CARE: LINENS, LINENS BLENDS, AND 100% COTTON: All natural fibers such as linens and linen blends are prone to wrinkles. To minimize wrinkles, we recommend washing larger pieces such as coverlets, blankets and duvets separately and removing them promptly after drying.

MATELASSÉ FABRIC CARE: Most Matelassé bedding is machine washable.
